398 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education if she will list the grant applications received under the 1996 recreational facilities scheme and major facilities scheme from groups based in the postal districts of Dublin 1, 3, 5 and 9; the applications which were successful; and the amounts involved. Applications under my Department's recreational facilities scheme are not compiled on the basis of postal districts, as outlined in the Deputy's question, and compiling the information would entail an inordinate amount of staff time and resources.

However, should the Deputy wish to inquire about a particular application I will endeavour to furnish the information as quickly as possible.
