208 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the provision of a second level school in Kingscourt, County Cavan; when the project will proceed to the next stage of planning; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [21083/96]
As I informed the Deputy in my reply to Question No. 550 on 25 July 1996, the planning section of my Department has been directed to undertake a review of the question of the provision of a second level school in Kingscourt, County Cavan.
This review is now being updated in the light of the latest statistical information available and is nearing completion. When the report is completed and available to me, I will make a decision in the matter without undue delay.
