51 Ms Keogh asked the Minister for Education the number of times the expert group on the regional technical colleges has met; the time limit, if any, she has set for the group to report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [10169/97]
The high level group to advise on the technological sector has met on four occasions.
I understand that the group has considered reports and documents relevant to its terms of reference. It has also received written submissions from each of the regional technical colleges and has engaged in lengthy discussions with senior representatives of the individual colleges over a period of two days.
I have asked the group to provide me with a report by the end of April.
