Vol. 480 No. 7

Written Answers. - Ministerial Appointments.

Bernard Allen

Question:

97 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs the appointments made by him through his personal office since being appointed, including programme managers, advisers, special advisers, constituency personnel and all appointments other than Civil Service appointments; the salary being paid per annum in each case; and if he will give the same information in relation to Ministers of State at his Department. [15120/97]

I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 411 on Tuesday, 30 September 1997 which dealt with appointments made since I took up office. The total salary being paid per annum to my personal assistant and personal secretary is £20,285 and £21,159 respectively.
