110 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Finance further to Parliamentary Question No. 140 of 7 October 1997 on the insurance levy, the total revenue generated to date by this levy; the use of the funds in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18379/97]
I refer the Deputy to my reply to Parlimentary Question No. 140 of 7 October 1997 on the insurance levy in which I detailed the total yield from the insurance levy on an annual basis. The information contained in my reply of that date has not changed. Funds generated by the levy form part of general taxation revenues.
