81 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if she has received an application for grant assistance under the farm electrification Grant scheme from a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4503/98]
An application from the person concerned for grant aid under the farm electrification grants scheme was disallowed in July 1997 by my Department because it did not meet the criteria for eligibility as farming was not the applicant's principal source of income. The applicant was informed of this decision.
