719 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received a request from a school (details supplied) in County Cork for a grant towards school improvements; and if he will make funding available in the 1998 financial year for these works. [8833/98]
My Department has received a request from improvement works from the school to which the Deputy refers. The application is being considered in the context of existing contractual commitments and the funds available this year. These matters are under consideration at present and I will keep the Deputy informed of developments.
