777 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will have arrangements made for appropriate education for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who is currently out of school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9384/98]

I was not aware of this case previously. Inquiries are being made at present with a view to establishing the person's education needs and making appropriate educational provision for her as soon as possible.
