Vol. 493 No. 5

Written Answers. - TEAM Aer Lingus.

Trevor Sargent

Question:

107 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the policy considerations, if any, which led TEAM Aer Lingus, on its establishment, opting to focus on Boeing craft to the exclusion of Airbus in view of recent media reports that British Airways has placed a £600 million order with Airbus for the supply of aircraft; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [16685/98]

The type of work undertaken by TEAM Aer Lingus is a matter for the board and management of the company. I have no function in these matters.
