197 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the developments, if any, since 1 October 1998 in relation to the provision of a Garda station at Leixlip, County Kildare; if so, the nature and extent of these developments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20548/98]

There have been no major developments in relation to the provision of the new station since the Deputy's question of 30 September 1998. The Office of Public Works is continuing to actively pursue the matter.
