397 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 141 of 14 October 1999, when his officials will report on the review of the required qualifications for resource teachers. [22356/99]

My officials are currently engaged in their examination of this matter, but the review has not, as yet, been completed. I have asked my officials to inform the Deputy of the outcome of the review which is expected shortly.
