360 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will make funds available to carry out the necessary refurbishment of Beltra community hall, County Sligo, which is in the ownership of the VEC; if so, the amount of funds to be allocated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has no record of an application from Sligo VEC requesting additional funding for the refurbishment of Beltra community hall. However, it is open to the VEC to fund any refurbishment works from its approved financial allocations in accordance with its own priorities.
