94 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the allocation of capital funding from his Department to be made to the Waterford constituency in the year 2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24768/99]
I expect to formally invite applications for assistance under the sport capital programme for the 2000 round of grants in the national press shortly. Pending receipt and assessment of the applications received, I am not in a position to say what allocation of capital funding under the programme will be made available by my Department to the Waterford constituency next year.
