Vol. 513 No. 4

Written Answers. - Garda Operations.

John Bruton

Question:

67 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the cost to his Department, if any, of additional security measures associated with holding Government meetings outside Government Buildings; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1707/00]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the approximate additional cost to the Garda Síochána of security and policing measures for the holding of the two Cabinet meetings outside of Dublin were £8,700 and £2,000 for Roscommon and Cork respectively.
