Vol. 513 No. 6

Written Answers. - Hospital Report.

Liam Aylward

Question:

251 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 71 of 16 December 1999, he has received a report from the chief executive officer of St. James's Hospital, Dublin 8; and, if not, if he will request an immediate progress report. [2980/00]

Management of post mortem examinations practice and procedures is the responsibility of St. James's Hospital in the first instance. I have been advised by the chief executive officer of the hospital that a detailed report issued to the family concerned on 24 December 1999 and the Deputy has been advised accordingly.
