58 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) will receive 1998 and 1999 REP scheme payments in view of the fact all documentation has been lodged; if he will make a favourable decision; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The person named applied for the third year payment but was chosen at random for a pre-payment plan and on farm inspection. Arising from the inspection the agri-environmental plan was found to be deficient. An amended plan was submitted in mid-February 2000 and found to be satisfactory. The third year has now been cleared for payment and payment will issue within the next ten days.
The application for fourth year payment can now be processed.
