Vol. 519 No. 7

Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

109 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the degree to which domestic water supplies are available to meet requirements; the plans, if any, he has for augmentation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14835/00]

The general position in relation to water services infrastructure is set out in the reply to Question No. 93 of 16 November 1999. The national water study referred to in that reply has been received in my Department in the last few days and is under examination. The reply to Question No. 33 today updates the position in relation to the review of the 1996 greater Dublin water supplies study.
