125 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of Garda stations in County Kildare which are open on a 24 hour basis; if he has any plans to extend the number of stations providing such service; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15746/00]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that there are three Garda stations in County Kildare – Naas, Kildare and Newbridge – currently open on a 24 hour basis. There are no plans to extend this number.
