25 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for Finance if the committee to review the treatment of work-related expenses and benefits for workers, promised in the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness has yet been established; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18156/00]
Arrangements are currently in train to establish this group. My officials have been in contact with the social partners to seek nominations for membership of the group and to advise that the first meeting is being planned for the week beginning 10 July 2000. As stated in the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness, the review will carried before budget 2001.
