508 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received an application for provision of a general purposes room at Lisaniska national school, Foxford, County Mayo; if he has taken note of the points raised by the board of management in this matter; if he will give approval for a general purposes room; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has received an application for additional accommodation from the management authorities of Lisaniska national school, Foxford, County Mayo. The Deputy will appreciate, however, that my Department has a large number of school building projects on hand at present. Within this constraint, I can assure the Deputy that the application from Lisaniska national school will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
