Question:

99 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the EU directives under the aegis of his Department that are outstanding and remain to be implemented in Irish law. [17970/00]

The following EU Directives remain to be implemented in Irish law to date; Council Directive 98/45/EC amending Directive 91/67/EEC concerning the animal health conditions governing the placing on the market of aquaculture animals and product; Council Directive 2000/27/EC amending Directive 93/53/EEC introducing minimum community measures for the control of certain fish diseases; and Council Directive 99/35/EC regarding implementation of a regime of mandatory surveys for ro/ro ferries and high speed craft.
