118 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance the sites being examined in Leixlip, County Kildare as to their suitability for the new Garda station for the town; if the Commissioner of Public Works has a preferred site; and if he will indicate when a decision will be made in relation to this matter. Two sites, one at Newtown House, the other in the vicinity of Leixlip RC church, are currently under consideration but both are subject to difficulties which must be resolved before they could be considered suitable. Everything possible is being done to progress the matter to the earliest possible conclusion.
