850 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will ensure that transport is provided for a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan attending Youthreach; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24002/00]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

The Youthreach centre in Monaghan town operates under the aegis of County Monaghan VEC.

My Department has been in touch with the centre about the matter and now awaits specific proposals from the VEC as to how this student's transport requirements can be met.
