367 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the organisations and sports bodies which received grant aid from the Irish Sports Council and the amounts in each case for each of the years from 1997 to 1999 and to date in 2000. [25714/00]
The Irish Sports Council has been established on a statutory basis since 1 July 1999, and since then has distributed funding to sporting organisations in respect of current expenditure. Accordingly, the Deputy's request for the information which he is seeking has been forwarded to the Irish Sports Council.
