Question:

378 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the total number of students who studied science, technology and related subjects in the universities and the institutes of technology or regional technical colleges for every year since 1990. [25482/00]

As requested by the Deputy, the data available in relation to the sciences, including technology and related subjects for the institutes of technology and universities, are set out in the following table.
