15 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he has received a submission from Youghal Urban District Council applying for funding for a swimming pool for the town; if so, the funding requirements and the response of his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25855/00]
Youghal Urban District Council submitted a feasibility study and preliminary report to my Department on 31 July this year in respect of the proposed new swimming pool in Youghal. This documentation has been passed to my Department's technical advisers for examination. Further consideration will be given to this proposal when their report is available.
