Vol. 535 No. 1

Written Answers - Hospital Services.

Dan Neville

Question:

333 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 351 of 20 March 2001, regarding a person (details supplied) in County Dublin, he will examine six cancellations for appointments from Tallaght Hospital; and his views on whether this has caused physical and mental stress. [11887/01]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, once again, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
