Question:

154 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance the proportion of taxpayers who are earning under £15,000 per annum; under £20,000 per annum; under £30,000 per annum; and more than £30,000 per annum. [13156/01]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the information requested, estimated by reference to the income tax year 2001 to 2002, is as follows:
