Vol. 536 No. 5

Written Answers. - Disabled Drivers.

Pat Carey

Question:

168 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Finance if he will examine the eligibility of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 for the disabled drivers' tax concession scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14750/01]

I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners, who are responsible for the administration of the disabled drivers' scheme, that they have not received an application for admission to the scheme from the person referred to by the Deputy. They have arranged for the appropriate information booklet and application form to be sent directly to the person. If further information is required the person should contact the central repayments office, Coolshannagh, Monaghan, telephone number (047) 82800), who will be glad to be of assistance.
