Question:

142 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the prison in the UK in which a person (details supplied) is serving a sentence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15210/01]

The person referred to in the Deputy's question was sentenced to eight months imprisonment on 11 May in respect of four charges of burglary and one charge of breach of bail and is serving the sentences in HMP Lewes in East Sussex. With remission and allowance for time spent on remand in Ireland prior to his extradition the person is due for release on 14 July 2001.
