381 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he received plans (details supplied); if it is his intention to approve funding for stage 1 of the works under the major capital programme scheme for the coming year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I approved funding for sewerage facilities for Moynalty under the serviced land initiative in 1998.

In the meantime Meath County Council has submitted more extensive proposals than those originally envisaged. These proposals are currently under discussion between my Department and the council.
