387 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the funding he has made available to the Southern Health Board towards the housing aid for the elderly scheme; and if he will make additional funding available. [24268/01]
A total of £1 million for the operation of the scheme was allocated to the Southern Health Board for 2001 compared to £765,000 for 2000. The overall provision of £8.658 million for the scheme in 2001 has been fully allocated and no additional funding is available in the current year.
