Vol. 544 No. 5

Written Answers. - Disabled Drivers.

Paul Connaughton

Question:

124 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Finance if there have been changes to the disabled drivers and disabled passengers tax concessions scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29364/01]

No changes have been made to the 1994 regulations governing the disabled drivers' and disabled passengers' tax concessions scheme. The scheme is under review by an interdepartmental group, which is chaired by an official from the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform. I understand the work of this group is at an advanced stage.
