Question:79 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive a cow premium payment. [31253/01]
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
The person named applied for premium for 20 animals under the 2001 suckler cow premium scheme. In processing his application for payment one animal tag, number PSA896647, required further checks as it was not listed on his herd reconciliation form. The person named was advised by the district livestock office of my Department to contact SWS Bandon concerning this matter.
In the meantime his application is being processed for payment on 19 animals and payment of an 80% advance will issue shortly.

Payment in respect of the returned cheque was issued from my Department today.
