Vol. 546 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Staff.

Michael Noonan

Question:

209 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will examine the case relating to two specialist radiographers who wish to job share in a large regional hospital (details supplied); if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the matter has been deliberated upon by the local health authority for almost 12 months; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31526/01]

Responsibility for the organisation of personnel matters rests with the employing authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the relevant health board to reply directly to the Deputy.
