Responsibility for the provision of health services for people living in Kilkenny rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer at the board to investigate the matter raised and reply to the Deputy directly.
134 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will examine a case relating to the outstanding payment of subvention from the Mid-Western Health Board to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; if his attention has been drawn to the considerable time delay in the payment of this amount; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
