441 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Education and Science if two extra special needs assistants will be sanctioned for children with moderate learning difficulties attending Holy Family School, Charleville, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5589/02]
My Department's inspectorate received an application for the appointment of two extra special needs assistants at the school in question on 5 February 2002. The application is currently being considered by the inspectorate. My officials will be in contact with the school authorities when the inspectorate's report has been received and considered.
