100 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he will publish the report by a company (details supplied) engaged in January 1999 to carry out an investigation into possible irregularities in the administration of his Department's afforestation grant and premium schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The report in question contains confidential information and it is not proposed to publish it.

Follow-up action on the report is still in the hands of my Department in relation to some individual files. To date no case of suspected irregularity, as defined by European Council Regulation 2988/95, has been found.
