599 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give official confirmation in writing to the board of management of a school (details supplied) in Dublin 12 that it may proceed with the installation of a new heating system; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The allocation of €16.5 million in my announcement of 24 February 2002 in respect of urgent works at second level schools included works at the school to which the Deputy refers. Officials in my Department's post-primary building unit wrote to the management authorities of the school on 27 February 2002 confirming that the project will proceed in the current year.
