353 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will include assistance for the major restoration work on St. John's Cathedral, Limerick when the national development plan is reviewed shortly. [10061/02]
An application for funding in relation to the conservation measure of the Southern and Eastern Regional Operational Programme has been received for St. John's Cathedral, Limerick. I will be announcing details of allocations to be made under this grant scheme later this week. St. John's Cathedral previously received funding of €25,395 under this scheme in 2001.
