170 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if his attention has been drawn to the hardship fruit and vegetable growers have gone through over the past two months in County Wexford; his plans to address the difficulty; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14766/02]
The recent sustained spell of wet weather has caused significant difficulties for fruit and vegetable growers in County Wexford. However, difficulties have also been experienced to varying degrees by farmers in all production sectors throughout the country. I shall keep the situation under review in the light of developments over the coming period.
