203 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will approve funding for the upgrading of the facilities and equipment in the metalwork room at St. Nathy's College, Ballaghadereen, County Roscommon; his views on whether it is acceptable that basic facilities have not been provided to date in line with other schools; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has received an application from the management authority of St. Nathy's College for upgrading of facilities and equipment in the metalwork room. The project is currently being considered for funding and a response will issue to the school shortly.
