Question:243 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will make arrangements to have specialised equipment made available to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [14635/02]

Recently my Department received an application for equipment from the school attended by the student in question. A grant for the purchase of specialised equipment for the use of this student will be made available to the school. The application will be discussed further with the school when it reopens in September.
