288 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has satisfied himself that an appointment for 10 June 2003 is a reasonable or satisfactory situation for persons (details supplied) in County Cavan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14475/02]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of County Cavan rests with the North Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the NEHB to investigate the matter raised and respond directly to the Deputy.
