Vol. 553 No. 5

Written Answers. - Exchequer Borrowing.

Bernard Allen

Question:

108 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Finance if he expects State borrowing will come in on target as indicated on budget day; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14403/02]

The present forecast for the 2002 Exchequer surplus is €170 million, unchanged from budget day. The 2002 borrowing-funding plan as managed by the National Treasury Management Agency is in line with this forecast.
