92 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of private and public nursing home beds available in each health board area; the average cost per day of a public bed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3050/03]

The information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collated in my Department. My Department has, therefore, asked the health boards and the Eastern Regional Health Authority to provide the information, which will be forwarded to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.
