440 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the measures as outlined in the review of Estimates report which have been implemented by his Department to date; the measures he proposes to implement; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4483/03]
The proposals at Appendix II of the Report of the Independent Estimates Review Committee, in so far as these relate to my Department, are reflected in the Estimates provisions for my Department for 2003. The measures identified by the committee at Appendix III are for the purposes of a further medium-term review to be undertaken by the Department of Finance.
The measures identified in paragraph 10.1 of the committee's report, some of which relate to my Department, were in the context of possible supplementary options for 2003. These have not been activated in relation to my Department.
