Question:

400 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the funding which was spent in 2002 by each of the health boards and regional authorities on advertising for media purposes and advertising; the areas in which the money was spent, that is, national papers, provincial papers, RTE radio, local radio and other sources; the money which was spent on videos, whether for promotional, educational or advertising purposes; the number of public relations staff employed in each of the health boards and regional authorities; and the cost for 2002. My Department does not hold detailed information of this kind on health boards. Therefore my Department has requested each chief executive officer to contact the Deputy directly to furnish all the relevant information in relation to this issue.
