102 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance if the design team has been appointed in relation to the new Garda station for Leixlip, County Kildare; the timeframe in which they must provide the final design; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5999/03]

The design team has been appointed for the construction of a new Garda station at Leixlip. It is expected that a design sketch scheme, for the approval of the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, will be completed by the end of May 2003.
