Vol. 563 No. 2

Written Answers - Crime Levels.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

237 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the crime figures for each town in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7572/03]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the information in the format requested is not readily available and could not be obtained without the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of Garda resources.

Crime statistics for the Garda division of Carlow-Kildare as a whole are published in the annual reports of the Garda Síochána, and the most recent figures relate to the year 2001.
